It started with one WhatsApp group in a condo
Home Cuisine Market helps people find home-cooked food near them, and helps home cooks reach the people who'll love their food.
One condo group
Aarti started a WhatsApp group for her condo community, so neighbours could find home-cooked food made right in their building.
Word spread
People from outside the building asked to join, then people from across the city. The condo group became a city group.
Groups across the GTA
More city groups followed across the GTA. Most of the time it was the cooks themselves who asked for a group in their area, so they could reach the people around them.
This website, and what's next
Home Cuisine Market brings it all together: cooks' menus, cities and order deadlines in one place, with ordering still on WhatsApp. Next come more cities, more provinces, and one day other countries.
